Booking Experts and Recras

Booking Experts is an all-in-one booking system specifically developed for the recreation and leisure industry, such as holiday parks, campsites, and group accommodations. The platform automates the entire process surrounding overnight stays. The integration between Recras and Booking Experts brings the Recras booking process (including activities, packages, and extras)straight into Booking Experts. This allows guests to book their activities and outings directly alongside their stay.

What the integration does

  • Sell activities with every stay: Guests book activities, packages, and extras directly from their Booking Experts booking.
  • No double data entry: Name, email address, phone number, and address are automatically carried over from the Booking Experts booking.
  • Everything centralized in Recras: Reservations, scheduling, staff, and materials remain managed in one central place.
  • Secure connection: Authorized via OAuth2; Recras only reads the necessary data.
  • Per-administration setup: Connect each Booking Experts administration to its own specific Recras booking process.

After installation

Install the Recras app from the Booking Experts App Store. After installation, choose which booking process the guests will see.
  1. In Recras, go to Settings → Integrations → Booking Experts
  2. For the connected administration, select the correct booking process to show to guests.
  3. Save the changes.

How it works

  1. Booking from ‘My Account’: Guests open the Recras booking process directly from their personal ‘My Account’ page (Guest Portal) within Booking Experts.

  2. Automatically prefilled data: Contact details are immediately prefilled from the Booking Experts booking, allowing guests to book faster without retyping their information.

  3. Directly in Recras: As soon as the guest completes the activity, the booking automatically flows into the Recras environment in real-time.

The following details are prefilled when available in the Booking Experts customer profile: first name, last name, email address, phone number, address, postal code, city, and country.

The integration is made by Recras.
