Recras and WordPress

WordPress is the most widely used content management system (CMS) for creating websites and blogs. Of all websites using a CMS, more than 65% use WordPress. The alternatives, such as Joomla and Drupal, are used by 2.5% and 2.0% of websites, respectively.

Through the Recras WordPress plugin, Recras can be easily linked to any WordPress website. The following can be linked through the plugin:

• Being able to book a package or booking process online can take place via the website
• A contact form from Recras can be integrated on a website; completed forms arrive in Recras
• Arrangements can be presented on a website
• Products can be presented on a website
• An availability calendar of a package can be shown on a website
• A voucher template from Recras can be sold on a website
• Information about a voucher template can be presented on a website

The various components are explained in more detail below.

 

Online booking of a package

Every package that is bookable online can be booked via the plugin on your website. It is possible both to show a list of packages and to fill in a single package in advance.

 

Online booking processes

Booking processes is our new flexible way of booking things online. This can be seamlessly integrated into your website.

 

Contact form

In Recras, you can create contact forms. Through the plugin, these can be integrated into the website. As soon as a form is filled in by a website visitor, the data automatically arrives in Recras.

 

Arrangements

You can display an arrangement from Recras on a page in WordPress. This way, it is possible to manage texts about the arrangements in Recras.

 

Products

You can display a product on a page from Recras. It is in this way possible to extract texts, prices and an image of the product completely from Recras.

 

Availability calendar

An availability calendar for a certain package can be displayed on the website. This way, you can, for example, show whether accommodation is still available.

 

Sale of vouchers

Vouchers can be sold from Recras. These can be created as a Voucher template under Manage. If the Voucher Template has a link to sell it online, it can be integrated with the website.

The following properties of a voucher can be displayed on the website:

• Name
• Price
• Number of days valid
