Safety and good organisation start with staff who have the right qualifications. Whether you work with a fixed team, freelancers or seasonal workers, it’s important to know exactly who is allowed to perform which tasks. Especially during busy periods, it can be tricky to keep track. Who’s qualified to give instructions? Who can lead a group? You could manage this in Excel, but there’s a smarter and more efficient way.

Implementing qualifications in Recras
1. Choose your planning strategy
Decide whether you want to plan per booking, per location, or use a combination of both.
2. Determine which qualifications are needed
Think of roles like activity supervisor, front desk tasks, training, or internal roles.
3. Create the qualifications
Add them in Recras under Qualifications (Settings > Staff > Qualifications).
4. Set the planning strategy per product
Specify for each product how you plan and which qualifications are required.
5. Assign qualifications to locations
Make sure each location is linked to the correct qualification(s).
6. Link qualifications to staff members
Assign the right qualifications to each employee and mark them as eligible for scheduling.
7. Check your staff planning settings
Review your settings carefully to make sure everything is set up correctly.
