Recras takes the next step in Germany: Fiskaly TSE integration
Recras takes the next step in Germany
As a software company from the Netherlands with strong ambitions in the European market, Recras is fully committed to growth within Germany. The German leisure sector has certainly found its way to Recras. To support this growth and provide the best possible service to our customers, we are now working with a full-time German colleague based in Hamburg directly in the German market, alongside our German colleagues in the Netherlands.
Our ambition is clear: to secure a solid and lasting presence in Germany. And this goes far beyond simply translating the system into another language. Successful European expansion means that, as a platform, you must fully align with the specific needs, culture, and strict legal requirements of each individual country. One of the most crucial steps we are taking to achieve this is integrating a TSE solution via Fiskaly for our point-of-sale (POS) system.
TSE: What exactly is it?
Germany enforces very strict tax regulations when it comes to digital point-of-sale (POS) systems. Since the introduction of the Kassensicherungsverordnung (KassenSichV), all electronic recording systems and cash registers must be tamper-proof. This is legally mandated via a TSE, which stands for Technische Sicherheitseinrichtung (Technical Security Device).
The POS system within Recras
With Recras’s POS feature, you can quickly and easily manage walk-ins, on-site sales, and last-minute changes in one central overview. You scan tickets, process payments, and add extra guests or products to a booking on the spot. Because the POS is directly linked to your scheduling, your real-time availability is always 100% accurate, keeping your daily operations running smoothly.
To guarantee German leisure businesses that same worry-free workflow, a TSE integration is a strict requirement. With our Fiskaly integration, we make the Recras POS system completely “Finanzamt-proof.”
Already accountant-proof: the DATEV export
The upcoming TSE integration is by no means the first step we have taken to comply with German standards. To ensure that accounting runs as smoothly as possible for German leisure businesses right now, Recras already features a built-in DATEV export. In Germany, DATEV is the absolute gold standard for accountants and tax advisors. Thanks to this export, our German customers can already send their financial data and bookings to their accountant quickly, easily, and in the correct format. The Fiskaly TSE integration is the perfect, seamless complement to this, securing day-to-day operations right at the cash register.
Integration underway: a highly anticipated feature
The decision has been made: the Fiskaly TSE integration is officially on its way. This project has been given a high internal priority to ensure that the Recras POS system will soon fully comply with German legislation.
We want to be completely transparent about the timeline: we are not setting a hard deadline just yet. We prefer to build this feature with the utmost care and thoroughness rather than committing ourselves to a rushed launch date.
Through developments like this, we are truly making the German market our own. Although Recras is a Dutch company, our German users won’t notice any difference in practice. We make sure that the platform offers a fully localized, seamless experience across the border: from our support team and language settings right down to the strictest tax regulations. The upcoming Fiskaly integration is a fantastic next step in that journey.
